Basic rates for video in Richmond Virginia. Your gear (with me as an operator)- $200 for 4 hours,
My gear:
DV - $250 for FIRST HOUR, $50 each hour after first, plus expenses such as tapes etc. Day rate = $500 for min 8 hours no more than 10 hours.
HD - $400 for FIRST HOUR, $100 each hour after the first, plus extras such as hard drives, P2 store, and file transfer. Day rate $1,000 min 8 hours, no more than 10 hours.
Photography- negotiable.
FEES CAN BE BY THE JOB OR HOUR. LOWER RATES FOR NON
COMMERCIAL WORK.
In some cases,
(magazine-editorials) he will work for trade or mutual promotion.
GAVIN GILES is available for
private commissioned work in photography and video. He can come to your
location or shoot in various studios or locations. Examples of
commissioned work would be: photographing rare exotic sports cars,
motorcycles, boats or doing life documentaries.
He is even available for private photography for your special someone on
valentines day, or if you just want to be made to look like a supermodel or
celebrity. Sometimes women just want to be captured at their prime in life
by doing a Victoria Secret style photo shoot or video.

Another example would be a video documentary of a historic member of your
family.
GAVIN GILES is available for
shooting and editing music videos of bands, or other talent acts. All of
his work would be done on 3 chip dv-cam cameras, using professional mics.
He also has the ability to shoot multi camera and do live edits, DV masters, and
vhs copies.

GAVIN GILES is strongly looking to do more indie film work. He is
currently working on his screenplay called coincidence.
He has DV-CAMS , Custom built editing computers, DV-RAPTOR RT editing cards,
adobe premiere, after effects, video vegas, firewire drives,
Gitzo boom pole, xlr cables, sennheiser wireless mics and sennheiser ME66 boom
mics, DV burner, VHS 16 deck duplicator cart, VIDEONICS live switch.
His latest item is Jeff Wolverton's personal laptop used to write the screenplay
of the animated short
the
ChubbChubbs.
Maybe the good luck will rub off.
Gavin's work in photography and video imagery has lead him to many
sources of promotional items. His work as the photo editor for his sisters
publication called Zaghareet, has given him the practice using quark and
photoshop. His past work work with canon for over 7 years, has made
him many friends in the printing world. He now has formed alliances where
he can make any type of printed item. His imagery has appeared on
billboards,
as calendars, printed t-shirts, custom t-shirts and other clothing, posters,
